The Grand Finale of the MADHURAGEETHAM BHAJAN CONTEST was conducted on 25th December 2014, as a part of the Deiva Tamizh Isai Vizha. It was a festive, colourful and bissful evening with 6 finalist teams performing Sri Sri Swamiji’s Kirtans. The 6 teams that had qualified to the finals from a qualifying round were, Sai Rasika Priya Bhajan Mandali, Sri Vidhya Vani Sangeetha Vidyalaya, PSBB T Nagar, Sri NDGA Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Parthi Sai Bhajana Mandali and Sri BS Mootha Jain School.

Sri Vignesh Sundararaman of GOD India and Sri Siddarth Murali of GOD Australia anchored the event. Welcome address was given by Dr Janani Vasudevan of GOD India Trust. Following this, Dr A Bhagyanathan, Personal Secretary to Sri Sri Swamiji, who co ordinated the grand final event, addressed the gathering.
The event was judged by Erode Sri Balaji Bhagavathar, Smt Anusha Balaji and Smt Krithika Bharadwaj. The teams, with very efficient instrumentalists and well trained vocalists, gave an exemplary performance.

Sri BS Mootha Jain School was adjudged the winner and Sri Vidhya Vani Sangeetha Vidyalaya were the runners.

H.H.Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji, by His immense grace, blessed all the finalists with prizes.  Mr Navannan of Star Vijay Television, which covered the event to be telecast in their channel as a part of their Pongal Special Program, was also blessed by Sri Sri Swamiji.

Ms Uthra delivered the Vote of Thanks.
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Nama Bhiksha Kendra and Global Organisation for Divinity India Trust extend heartfelt gratitude to all the participating schools and Bhajan groups, who made this event a grand success by their overwhelming response.



On the occasion of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Jayanthi celebration, Nama chanting was done between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sri Sundara Anjaneya Swamy Temple – Kalkere Village, Bangalore on 28th February 2010.

Over 200 people participated in the chanting. The atmosphere was reverberating with the Nama for 4 hours. The sculpture of Sri Mahaprabhu and Sri Nityananda, handmade by Sri Babu, a devotee of Sri Sri Swamiji,  resembled the divine presence of the Lord amidst us.

Nama Chanting concluded with satsangh members rendering “Kaliyayum Balikollum” and “Anjaneya Ram”. All the devotees were served prasadam thereafter.



Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s jayanthi was celebrated in Singapore with Akhandanama kirtanam from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on 27th February 2010, at the residence of Sri Narayanan/Archana.
On the 28th, chanting was done at Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple for one hour, which was attended by about forty participants.
By the grace of Mahaprabhu and Sri Sri Swamiji, Mahamantra is being chanted a few times regularly during the temple’s mass prayer on Saturdays. About 100 devotees, mostly local Singaporeans attend this session.

With the Divine Blessings of Sri Sri  Swamiji, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s Jayanthi was celebrated by Avadi satsang on the 28th February 2010 at MURALI KRISHNA MANDIR, OCF ROAD, AVADI, CHENNAI – 54 with Hare Rama Akhandanama from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm. Around 80 devotees had gathered and chanted the Mahamantra happily.  Mahila Mandali of Avadi satsang (Especially Gandhi Nagar, Pudu Nagar and Bharathiyar Nagar satsangs) were actively involved in arranging Maha prasadams about 100 devotees.  All the children of Avadi Kendra cheerfully chanted Mahamantra. At the end of the chanting,
Sri Kovoor Shanmugam spoke on the Bhakthi of  Mahaprabhu for 30 minutes and the programme ended with Sri Sri Swamiji’s kirtan for which young children of Avadi Kendra beautifully danced. Sri Shanmugham and Sri Sivakumar of Avadi satsang had coordinated for this event.

Global Foundation for Civilizational Harmony had organised Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair 2009 in Chennai from 24th December 2009 to 28th December 2009.

The devotees of Maharanyam HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji had put up a stall between 26th to 28th December 2009 displaying the various spiritual and service activities undertaken by various trusts which are functioning with the blessings of Sri Sri Swamiji.

People from various walks of life had visited the “Madhuramurali” stall to whom pamphlets and other materials relating to Hara Rama Mahamantra were distributed.



Hare Rama Akhandanama was conducted at Salem Namadwaar on 17th November 2009 as part of Sri Sri Swamiji’s jayanthi. The akhandanama was between 6.00 am in the morning to 6.00 pm in the evening. More than 40 devotees took part in the celebrations. Prasadam was arranged for all the devotees.



Sri Sri Swamiji’s Jayanthi was celebrated on the 15th November 2009 in Bangalore at Sri Sundara Anjeneya Temple with great fervour. It was a blessing to all the devotees that the entire day was spent with thoughts and talks about Sri Sri Swamiji.

The celebrations started off with Ayusha Homam and Aavahanthi Homa in the morning with the Poornaahuthi at about 12.00 noon. This was followed by the Mahaprasadam.

The afternoon session commenced at 3.00 pm with the singing of Guru’s kirtans by the satsang children in Sanskrit, some of which were translated into Kannada . It was nice to see about 25 children  on the stage singing in unison .

This was followed by a bharthanatyam  performance by Kum Shruthi Lakshmi who had  given her aragetram just a week back.

The most awaited Divine experience of devotees touched everyone’s heart implanting confidence in our Sri Sri Swamiji and the Mahamantra all the more.  In all, six devotees narrated their experiences.

This was followed by a speech by Sri Abhishek Lakshminarayan in English highlighting the essence of Guru bhakthi which was well brought out with connotations from Sabari patti’s life. Then Sri Naveen Bhat spoke in Kannada about Guru and the Mahamantra.

The grand finale was the Mahamantra kirtan by  the devotees followed by the distribution of prasadam. Around 250 to 300 devotees participated in the celebrations.

Nagara Sankirtan also was held in Malleswaram in the morning between 6.30 and 7.00 a.m. as is always done on Sundays.

Sri Shankar of Batalagundu kendra had organized Sri Sri Swamiji’s jayanthi on 15th November 2009 in a grand manner at his residence along with other like minded devotees there.

The celebrations started with Hare Rama akhandanama at 6.00 am in the morning. At around 7.30 am, a grand Nagara sankirtan was organized starting from his residence. They went through the main streets. At 11.30 pm, pooja was done to Sri Sri Swamiji’s padhukas. At around 12.00 noon, Annadanam was organized for all the devotees.

The akhandanama came to a close at 6.00 pm in the evening. Then many of the devotees shared their experiences between 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm. At around 7.15 pm Pooja was again done to the padhukas. At 7.30 pm prasadam was distributed to all the devotees.

More than 150 devotees had participated in the celebrations.



Hare Rama akhandanama was organized at Arulmigu Vangakadal Nayagi temple on the sea shore at Pattinampakkam, Chennai on 15th November 2009 as part of Sri Sri Swamiji’s jayanthi celebrations.

Annadanam was organized for all the devotees, numbering 100,  in the afternoon. The akhandanama came to a close with a grand Harathi for the Amman in the temple. Sri Arivarasan of Pattinampakkam kendra had organized for this celebration.



Sri Thulasidas of Thiruthuraipoondi kendra had organized for Sri Sri Swamiji’s jayanthi celebrations at Thiruthuraipoondi Sri Ramar temple and other local temples.

Nama was chanted at some orphanages and temples at various points in time during the day. Annadanam was organized for local school children and they were given gifts.

Smt and Sri Sairam, Smt and Sri Thilagamani also coordinated for these celebrations.
