With Sri Sri Swamiji’s abundant blessings, a NAMA SAPTHAHAM has been started from Sunday, the 25th July 2010 at the Nama Dwaar in Anna Nagar West, Chennai. The NAMA SAPTHAHAM beginning coincided with Guru Poornima celebrations.
Satsanghites in and around the neighbourhood brought in their friends and relatives to joyfully participate in this nama chanting between 9.30 a.m to 12.30 p.m in the morning and 2.30p.m to 5.30 p.m in the evening.
On the inaugral day, Nama was followed by a speech for 30 minutes on Guru mahima in the morning session and 40 minutes rendering of Guru’s songs by Ms.Anu. Around 40 members participated.

Sri Sambasivam who is a teacher by profession organized this satsang. The Satsang went on very well with more than 25 children and 10 elders attending the same. Sri Muraliji has narrated the story of Pundaleeka and the importance of taking care of parents and giving due respect to the elders. Sri Sambasivam has been conducting satsangs for the last few years near Mecherry. Everyone chanted “Hare Rama” Mahamantiram actively at the conclusion of the Satsang. Our Sri Swamiji also came to this temple last month during his visit to Salem.

The Satsang started off with the Nagara Sangeerthan for half-hour and later on Sri Muraliji gave a speech on the importance of having a Guru, story of Kabirdas and few quotes from Ramayanam. This was a day of Swathi Nakshatiram being the star of Lord Narasimha and our Sri Swamiji. This satsang was organized by Sri Balaji Battachariyar. He has been chanting Mahamantra for more than 15 years at the same place. More than 30 elders have participated in the Satsang. Sri Muraliji narrated Story of Prahladha and greatness of lord Narasimha with quotes from Azhwars and importance of chanting Mahamantram. The devotees have chanted Mahamantram with great devotion at the conclusion of our Satsang.

The satsang was organized the first time here by Smt Subashini of our Satsang who is also a teacher by profession. More than 25 elders participated in the Satsang. Sri Muraliji explained the greatness of Sri Anjaneya as a “Guru” and the importance of chanting Rama Naama. Everyone chanted Mahamantra with a great interest at the conclusion of the Satsang. The temple authorities have assured us of a weekly chanting of Mahamantra at the temple.

More than 200 students studying in 10th and 12th Classes along with teachers participated in the program. Sri Muraliji explained the increasing competition among students in education and the necessity to have constant updating of knowledge, self confidence, giving respect to Parents and Teachers and the requirement of GOD’s intervention in our efforts to have grand success. The students have been given Mahamantra stickers. The students have chanted Mahamantra happily at the conclusion. The school organisers have assured us of a daily chanting of Mahamantra during their prayer.

The importance of chanting Mahamantra was well received by everyone and they chanted with a great devotion at the conclusion of the Satsang.

On 19th July 2010, at around 8.00 p.m., Sri Ramanujamji accompanied by Premalataji, Rajeswaryji, Nathanji, Sunitaji & Gomathyji visited the MMU University at Cyberjaya, Malaysia’s 1st IT City. They were welcomed by Shantanji who was the programme coordinator. Shantanji gave an opening speech before handing over the event to Sri Ramanujamji.
Sri Ramanujamji gave a talk on how spirituality and prayers can aid students to excellence in their studies. The students listened to the speech with full attention and had a lot of questions for Sri Ramanujamji during the Q&A session. Sri Ramanujamji answered all the questions raised eloquently and this turned out to be the most interactive session of the entire event.
Prasadam was distributed to everyone before it adjourned at 10.30p.m.
On July 19th, at about 11.00 a.m., Sri Ramanujamji accompanied by Sunitaji & Rajeswaryji visited the HICOM Tamil School and were welcomed by the school principal, Mr. Raju. Sunitaji kicked off the event by giving a motivational talk regarding exam preparations for the crowd of about 80 students.
Then, Sri Ramanujamji spoke about how efforts and hard working will yield results in our life. There was a tremendous response from the children as they interacted actively throughout the event. Two of the school’s children who were winners in the inter school Thirumurai competition showcased their talents to the crowd present.
The Senior Assistant thanked Sri Ramanujamji for his efforts while the headmaster presented him with a memento and a certificate of appreciation. The headmaster added that the school is looking forward to future sessions such as the one today.
Malaysia Namadwaar welcomed Sri Ramanujamji at 7.00 p.m.. The day’s event began by singing the Maha Mantra Kirtan for 11 times, the children of our devotees and those from the orphanage sang two songs from Sri Sri Swamiji’s Mathurageetham Volume 1. The songs were ‘Rama Ramana Hari’ & ‘Kulandai Kannan’.
Next, on behalf of Malaysia Namadwaar, Sri Nathanji presented Sri Ramanujamji with a shawl. Then, Sri Ramanujamji started the next session by offering prayers to the Holy Padukas of our Guru Maharaj Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji while the devotees chanted the Maha Mantra along with him.
After that, Sri Ramanujamji spoke about the greatness of the Maha Mantra while highlighting a particular story about a particular devotee’s experience that saved her son’s life. Later, he played a video that showed the mission, vision and future plans of India GOD organisation. The next video was one which showed the many activities organised by the various Namadwaar organisations established in India.
Later, a memento in the form of the KL Petronas Twin Towers was presented to Sri Ramanujamji while prasadam blessed by Sri Swamiji was distributed to the devotees. Special thanks is mentioned to all the devotees who took the time and trouble to provide us a variety of prasadam.
The event ended around 9.30 p.m. with everyone feeling joyous as we have shared the greatness of the Maha Mantra together.
On July 18th, Sri Ramanujam gave a wonderful discourse on ‘Tirukkuralil Bhagavatam’ at Geylang Siva Temple in Singapore
In the discourse on Thirukkuralil Bhagavatha dharmam, Sri Ramanujam ji explained how the essence of Bhagavatha Dharmam is found underlying in Thirukkural also.
The 3rd Year Annual Day Celebrations of Madhurya Sloka Class conducted by Bhuvana Kumar was held in Koramangala on the 17th July 2010. Over a 100 children have been a part of this journey since the commencement of the classes in July 2007.
This year featured a variety of entertainment program(s) commencing with a Ganesh stuthi. Different age group (s) of children performed a mix of dance, play, slokas recitation, heritage quiz, storytelling, Mahamantra divyanam etc.
Children in the age group of 4- 6 yrs. performed a dance set to the famous song “Natawarlal Giridhar Gopal”. This was followed by Sri Krishna Sudama Play. Children above 6 yrs then performed a dance sequence set to the most divine song “Maraindhu Vandhu Vennai thirudum Kalla Krishna”. All the children then participated in a Heritage Quiz revolving around the history of Rama & Krishna. A few children then narrated some of the moral stories learnt in the class. An added attraction to the function was the performance by the children from Kalkere village, who danced in the divyanamam style to the chanting of Hare Rama Mahamantra. Every child dressed in the costume of Krishna & Gopi depicted a truly divine environment.
The audience present was overjoyed by the versatility of events featured in the Annual day function.
This year, we had the privilege to honour Sri Naveen Bhatt since it was he who inaugurated the first session of the Class 3 years back. Sri. Naveenji then spoke about the power of “Bhagwan Nama” and how “Nama” alone can take us to a level of attaining spiritual upliftment as well as material benefits that we desire. Over a 100 people (parents and well-wishers) were present on the occasion
Smt. Rajni Sridhar, Sri. Sridharji, Smt. Vijayalakshmi, Sri Krishnadas from GOD organization participated in the function.
Many parents volunteered to join the cause of our “GOD” Organization to the service of children & mankind.

A Bhakta Vijayam Saptaham was held at Udumalpet for seven days from 8th July to 14th July 2010 by Sri Ravi Kashyap Bhagavata. He discoursed on different charitras like Dhruva Charitra, Kunti Stuti, Brindavan Lila, Bhishma Stuti, Hanumad Prabhavam, Prahlada Stuti, Sri Bodendra Swamigal’s charitram, Uddhava Sandesham, Ajamila Charitram, Gajendra Stuti, Rukmini Sandesham and Andal Kalyanam.
Various Nama Sankirtan satsangs were held during the seven days including a Nagara Sankirtanam on the concluding day. Devotees expressed their delight and willingness to have more and more saptahams in future.
On July 14th, Sri Prakashji gave an excellent discourse on Sundarakandam at the residence of Sri Ramanathan.
In two hours he covered the whole Sundarakandam highlighting all the important details and made everyone wonder at his knowledge and skill in giving upanyasam at this young age.
