Sri Sri Swamiji’s Jayanthi was celebrated by Kovoor Sri Muralidaradas Satsang, with Mahamantra Akhandanama for 12 hours between 6.00 am in the morning to 6.00 pm in the evening at “Sri Karunakara Perumal” temple, West Mada Street, Kovoor on Saturday, the 1st November 2008.

About 80 people participated in the chanting and there was a dhivya nama with the participation of Ms.Vijayalaksmi of Porur, Ms Ammu of Adambakkam, Ms Gunavathi, Ms Uma, Ms Ananthi and other members of Kovoor Satsang. Kolattam by children was also organised. Kovoor Shanmugam spoke about importance of Satguru in everybody’s life and the Satsang concluded with “Maha Aarthi” and “Prasadam” was distributed to all. In the afternoon, Annadanam was organized and all the devotees took part in it.
