GOD India Satsang

Nama is being chanted at the residence of the pious couple, Smt Brinda Krishnamurthy and Sri T S Krishnamurthy for the last five years. Nama is being chanted between 4.00 pm and 5.00 pm on all Sundays where more than 50 people participate in the chanting.

On 28th June 2009, 5th year completion anniversary was celebrated at the Kendra.  Nama was chanted between 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm, and there was a lecture by Sri R Kesavan of GOD Chennai between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm.

There were more than 150 devotees who participated in the Nama chanting and they all stayed back for the lecture. Sri Kesavan spoke on the life of Sri Ramanujar, where he was born, the trials he faced during his life time, how Lord Varadarajar of Kanchipuram saved him, about his Gurus etc., He quoted widely from Divyaprabhandam and spoke on 108 pasurams devoted to Sri Ramanujar. It was a wonderful experience for all the participants. Sri Kesavan also narrated his experiences with Sri Sri Swamiji when it came to Guru – Shishya relationship.

In the end, Sri Veeraraghavan spoke for a few minutes about his experiences and praised the pious couple for hosting the satsang without break for such a long time. Sri Vasanth and Sri Ramesh of GOD India also participated in this event.
