GOD India Satsang

In the morning, Thirumanjanam was performed to Rukmani Sathyabama Sametha Sri Navaneetha Krishnan at West Main Street, Thanjavur accompanied by Mahamantra Kirtan and Nadaswaram. Around 30 devotees participated and prasad was distributed.

In the evening between 5.00 – 6.00 PM, Mahamantra kirtan was performed by around 100 devotees in the Bhagavath Geetha Mandapam in the temple premises. After that Sri Sivaramakrishna Bhagavathar discoursed on “Guru Mahimai” for around an hour. Later prasad was distributed to all gathered devotees and public.

Additionally in view of Sri Sri Swamiji’s Jayanthi, special lunch and biscuit packets were provided to around 60 inmates of Dr.Vijaya Home for aged people on Diwali day. On November 15th 2009, special lunch with sweets will be provided to 20 inmates of Sangamam home for mentally challenged, 95 inmates of Government Orphanage, Thanjavur and 125 inmates of Government school for Blind, Thanjavur.

The programme was organized by GOD, Thanjavur and all satsangh members were elated to be part of Sri Sri Swamiji’s Jayanthi celebrations.
