Sriperumpudur, is a holy town in Kancheepuram district, otherwise called as “Bhuthapuri Ksethram” is one of the important religious center of Vaishnavites. It is the birth place of Sri Ramanujar, a 12th century vaishnavite saint. A beautiful temple of Sri Athikesava Perumal is located at in the center of the town.

The Sriperumpudur Namadwaar was opened by HH Sri Muralidhara Swamiji on 23rd March, 2009. Sri Swamiji succinctly briefed the significance of the holy place, the lineage of Vaishnavaite Acharyas and expressed his happiness that a nama center is established in this holy town of Sriperumpudur. All credit goes to our satsang brethren Sri.Balaramanji, who has graciously contributed the place to house the shrine of Namadwaar and participate in the holy mission of taking the mahamantra to all.

Sriperumbudur is strategically placed on the Chennai – Bangalore Highway and the Namadwaar is located just 1.5 kms from the Sriperumpudur bus terminus and 0.5 km from Jaya Hospital Stop.

The Namadwaar is open for the public between 8.00 am to 11:00 am and in the evening from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm on all days. Namadwaar also celebrates many special events with extended hours and those timings are mentioned in the notice board.

located on the Chennai – Bangalore National Highway – NH 4.
